Barcelona La Ramblas

Hello again!  How are you?  I hope the answer is "fine"I must confess however, that I have said I am fine, when really I'm not, but I don't want to bore anyone with my list of ailments! LOL!!

I have had a very sore finger, for a couple of months now, and it has been making my crafting a bit difficult, especially colouring, as it is the index finger on my right hand.  Everything becomes difficult when you can't lean on one of your fingers as I am discovering!

Anyway, enough about me, onto the post.

!st February (what already?) means a new sketch for Let's Scrap.  Here is the sketch this month.

 Here is my layout.  I really enjoyed working with this sketch, and I will definitely use it again.

 These photos were taken in Barcelona, a place I have dreamt about visiting for many years.
I though the journal box saying "Dream until your dreams come true"  was totally the correct thing to put there!

We took these photos in The Ramblas, a wonderful place to visit, which we did 3 times during our visit.  There is so much to see, including these Street Artists, who stand almost motionless for hours and hours.    I especially loved this lady, as she was wearing my favourite colour LOL!!

Papers, stickers and chipboard were all from Bo Bunny.
 Doilies were from Dovecraft.
Barcelona Title is actually a fridge magnet!! I had a wee Magpie moment! lol!!

Forever Lovely

Well, here we are in a new year.  I  made any Resolutions, as I always fail to fulfil them!  I have decided to lose weight though, and that starts very soon.  I have to get my head in the right place in order to start!  I have even taken photos of myself in my undies (which I have NEVER done before) so as I can do a before and after (hopefully)

So, on to today's card.   She is the aptly named Forever Lovely

I coloured her using my Polychromo pencils.  I have the full set now!  Thanks to hubby for giving me money at Christmas time. You don't really see it on the photo, but the paper is velvet coated, on the dark purple flowers and leaves.  It has been in my stash for years, and when I was having a tidy up I came across it, and knew it was just perfect for this project. The sentiment is from a Lilli of the Valley stamp.  I added gold details with a gel pen, and stuck on a couple of pearls to finish. I must admit I am rather pleased with the way she turned out.  the other girls on the Design Team have made somelovely items too, so please go over to RSD Sparkle and Glitter Blog and have a wee look?

I'm now going to tidy up photos on my laptop.  They are in such a muddle, and some are duplicated, so I need to get them in order. (Bit of OCD there lol!)  My main pc is in the pc hospital, but I get her back tomorrow yay!!  I have so much on that one that I rely on.
