About Me

My photo
Perth, Perthshire, United Kingdom
Welcome to my little corner of the World! I live in Perthshire Scotland with my wonderful husband Eric. We have a daughter, Corinne who is married to Rob and lives in New Zealand, with their boys Harrison and twins Hadley and Dylan. Marie who has a wee boy Jackson, and Greg and his wife Kim, their wee girl Freya, even smaller baby boy Freddie and dog Buddy. I am happy when I am in my craft room, and I love making cards for Charity and also for commissions. I love scrapbooking, and I get my inspiration from my Grandchildren. They are the subjects in most of my Scrapbooking layouts. I have just started to do Mixed Media work, and I am loving it!! I have just started a craft group at our local Church centre, aptly called Saints and Scissors Club! If you can't find me, I will be in my craft room, buried under tons of stash lol!

Creatalicious Challenge #179

Hello again.  It's a chilly day here in Perthshire, and it looks like the rain
 isn't very far away unfortunately.
I've been poorly for the past couple of weeks, not a very good start to the year.

it's time for the Challenge at Creatalicious challenges

This time we are asking you as usual to do anything goes but it is optional to add a snowflake.

Our sponsor this time is Polkadoodles and I am using the very cute
 Frozen birthday- Winnie winter celebration

Why don't you pop over to the Creatalicious Blog and see
what the other members of the Design Team have done.

Creatalicious Challenges #180

Hello again.  it's the end of January already, time just whizzes by, doesn't it?  WE had a little snow yesterday, and today snow is almost all gone, but it is really  slippy underfoot.  Perfect weather for staying in and crafting!
I'm tidying my craft room.  Honestly, but you wouldn't know it to look at it,  I seem to be making it worse instead of better! lol!!!  Trouble is, you find things you haven't used for a while, and then you start playing with them lol!!!!
Anyway, it is Creatalicious Challenge time once more.
The theme this time is hearts, and our sponsor is Di's Digis.

Valentine's day is coming up, so lots of love and hearts should be floating around, so why don't you enter a card?

Here is my design.
This is a lovely image from Mo Manning, (who appears on my blog a lot!) and I  like it as it isn't overly "slushy"  My husband isn't the most romantic person so wouldn't appreciate anything too romantic.
It would be lovely to have you joining us, why not get busy?
I'll be back soon.

Creatalicious Challenges #178

Hello again, and I hope you have all enjoyed your Christmas festivities.  I survived mine, only just, but alas, I am suffering now, and my fibro is having a bit of a flare up.  It could be lots worse though, so not going to complain too much!

So, The Creatalicious challenge this time is

Challenge #178 ANYTHING GOES with optional wishes & DT call!!!

What do you have to do as a DT member at Creatalicious Challenges?

1) you need to have a Facebook account as all our DT info is on Facebook
2) create one project per month (we often get images from our sponsor to work with)
2) comment on entries (everyone has 2 numbers out of 10 entries)
3) chose your Top 3, when it is your turn
4) Have lots of fun!

You don't need to have any DT-experience, you just need to have fun creating things.

So, if you want to be part of our design team just add "DT" after your name when entering our challenge and Melanie will be coming over to take a look at your work of
art.

Our sponsor this time is the Wonderful Hannah Lynn.  Here is my card

I had so much fun colouring up this image and making my card.  I really went wild with my colour scheme, which is very unlike me!!! I love the finished result though!!!  I used Promarkers to colour this one.
I'm off for now, but take care until the next time.xx
