About Me

My photo
Perth, Perthshire, United Kingdom
Welcome to my little corner of the World! I live in Perthshire Scotland with my wonderful husband Eric. We have a daughter, Corinne who is married to Rob and lives in New Zealand, with their boys Harrison and twins Hadley and Dylan. Marie who has a wee boy Jackson, and Greg and his wife Kim, their wee girl Freya, even smaller baby boy Freddie and dog Buddy. I am happy when I am in my craft room, and I love making cards for Charity and also for commissions. I love scrapbooking, and I get my inspiration from my Grandchildren. They are the subjects in most of my Scrapbooking layouts. I have just started to do Mixed Media work, and I am loving it!! I have just started a craft group at our local Church centre, aptly called Saints and Scissors Club! If you can't find me, I will be in my craft room, buried under tons of stash lol!

Gliding By to say Hi!!

Hello everyone!  I hope the snow has all gone from your area, we just have mounds where it has been pushed into the side off the roads. Hopefully it will melt soon . So many people around here were snowed in and missed their work, it was dreadful!

Now, onto happier things.  I was asked to be Guest Designer for
Through the Craft Room Door Challenge Blog and I had to choose between 2 images
from Twinkle Lane Designs and I chose the Balloon image.

Here is the card I made, it features a slider, which makes the balloon move up
the card like it was sailing into the sky.

I also used paper from Twinkle Lane Designs which was perfect for
the scene I wanted to create.  I coloured the balloon with Promarkers, and I had
2 little wooden birds which I added.
I was really pleased how it turned out,
My card was featured on the Through the Craft Room Door,
and also in their online magazine.
Happy Days!
It is so much fun when you can see your work in print.

Okay, I now need to go and get organised for the
Saints and Scissors Craft Group tomorrow.
Stay warm everyone, there are brighter days ahead! (hopefully!!!!!!)
