Welcome to my little corner of the World! I live in Perthshire Scotland with my wonderful husband Eric. We have a daughter, Corinne who is married to Rob and lives in New Zealand, with their boys Harrison and twins Hadley and Dylan. Marie who has a wee boy Jackson, and Greg and his wife Kim, their wee girl Freya, even smaller baby boy Freddie and dog Buddy. I am happy when I am in my craft room, and I love making cards for Charity and also for commissions. I love scrapbooking, and I get my inspiration from my Grandchildren. They are the subjects in most of my Scrapbooking layouts. I have just started to do Mixed Media work, and I am loving it!! I have just started a craft group at our local Church centre, aptly called Saints and Scissors Club! If you can't find me, I will be in my craft room, buried under tons of stash lol!

Creatalicious Challenges #231

 Hello and welcome once more.

Well, the world is not a nice place at the moment, and I hate the news, as it is always bad news.  My heart goes out to anyone anywhere in the world who is struggling, in pain or living in fear.  I hope that common sense will prevail in every country.

I'm late for the Creatalicious Challenge, and I am so sorry.  However, here it is now.

The theme this time is Fairies, and I love the wee cutie pictured above.  I've actually just eaten a cupcake like that!  It was delicious too!

Well, this is going to be short and sweet I'm afraid.  I'll go  for now, but I will try to be back really soon.  Take care now. xxx

Creatalicious Challenges #230

Hello again and welcome to my wee part of the world.  it was a beautiful sunny and warm - yes warm day today.  Beautiful blue sky and sunshine all day, really super for 1st March.

I should have loaded this up yesterday, but 28th February is my Grandson's Birthday, and I was helping his mummy to bake cakes for his little tea party.  No party again for him this year because of Covid.  His mummy is 7 month's pregnant, and she doesn't want to take any risks because of baby.

So, onto the card for this challenge.

The option for this time, was something green, so I chose this card.

I actually made this card using items from The Papeterie Monthly Kit.  The green on the card is actually greener than it appears in the photo,  but I think it still meets the brief.

It's over to you again, you can enter your card over at Creatalicious Challenges blogspot

That's all for now, I'll be back soon!  Take care until then.

Creatalicious Challenges #229

Hello again!  I hope you are well and staying safe.  It is really cold here in St Madoes, and we keep being told that snow is on the way, but so far, touch wood, it has stayed away.

It is time for another challenge at Creatalicious Challenges  The theme is Anything Goes, with the option of doing your own background.

For my background, I used a honeycomb stencil and I also stamped some wee bees all over, colouring them with Promarkers.

It isn't easy to see on my pic, but the big bee's wings are acetate and lift off the page.

The stamps are from Pink Ink, a brand I only discovered recently.

So, now, it is over to you!  Have a look on the Creatalicious Challenges Blog at the other Design Team Member's Cards to get some inspiration and get your own card on there!

Creatalicious Challenges #228

 Hello again!

How are things in your part of the world?

It is cold  and windy here with more storms forecast.

  I hate winter!!

Over at Creatalicious Challenges the challenge is to create a card with the theme of love.

It will soon be Valentine's Day after all!

I have chosen a card I made showing an elderly couple, who are very obviously still very much in love.

I simply adore this image. Mo Manning has excelled yet again.  They just look so sweet, don't they?  I kept the decoration simple, so the main focus was on the coloured image.

This was coloured using my Promarkers, and I coloured the clouds using chalks.

Well, that's me for now, I'll hopefully be back really soon.

Take care till then!

Creatalicious Challenges # 227

Hello again and welcome to my little corner of the world.  Is it cold where you are? It is really cold here, but it was nice and sunny earlier, which made a big difference.  It is winter after all, so I can't complain!

The New challenge over at Creatalicious challenges blogspot is anything goes, with the option of Winter.

Here is my card

I have used 2 images from Mo's digital pencil

Valerie in winter and soon

I used my Promarkers to colour the two images, which I had merged together to create a scene.  I added some glitter to make the snow sparkle, and a die cut sentiment to finish it off.

Pop over to Creatalicious Challenges, and see if the Design Team can inspire you?
