About Me

My photo
Perth, Perthshire, United Kingdom
Welcome to my little corner of the World! I live in Perthshire Scotland with my wonderful husband Eric. We have a daughter, Corinne who is married to Rob and lives in New Zealand, with their boys Harrison and twins Hadley and Dylan. Marie who has a wee boy Jackson, and Greg and his wife Kim, their wee girl Freya, even smaller baby boy Freddie and dog Buddy. I am happy when I am in my craft room, and I love making cards for Charity and also for commissions. I love scrapbooking, and I get my inspiration from my Grandchildren. They are the subjects in most of my Scrapbooking layouts. I have just started to do Mixed Media work, and I am loving it!! I have just started a craft group at our local Church centre, aptly called Saints and Scissors Club! If you can't find me, I will be in my craft room, buried under tons of stash lol!

Let's Scrap 1st March 2016

Hello again.  Woke up this morning to see snow on the ground.  It was a bit of a surprise!  Interesting though, as I am taking a photograph of my garden on the first of every month, with the intention of doing something "scrappy" with them. Forgot to do it yesterday, but remembered today.
Anyway, I digress--  It is time to show the layout for Let's Scrap Sketches  for 1st March.
(or the 2nd in my case lol!!)

First the good news, I am still on the Design Team of Let's Scrap for a further 6 months - yee ha!!

Now to show you the sketch and the layout I made.

I only used the left hand side of the sketch.  I used some old photos form when Corinne was 5 and Marie was about 6 months.  This was when Marie was in plaster for her dislocated hips.  The photos are not good quality at all, but that's what happened in the good old days, you took a photo, and it was hit or miss if it was a good one!

I love Marie's chubby cheeks, but she hates them!  Poor Corinne,
Marie had obviously had enough and was trying to get away!
If you lift the heart on the bottom photo, it lifts up and I am going to put some
personal journalling in there.

I used papers from Little Yellow Bicycle called Love Letters
The title and wooden birds were from The Works (bargain at £1)
I used a tonic die to cut the square shapes.

That's all for now, thank you for stopping by!
See you soon !
