Crafty Catz Challenge 27th September 2024

 Hello again1

I'm back with another challenge from CraftyCatz  This time, there is no sponsor and it is just for fun.  The theme, however, is to use a stencil.

I have just sorted out my stencils and quickly picked one by Clarity Cards.  As it is Autumn, I used Autumn colours and added a man fighting to keep his umbrella under control, and a wee bird, watching him!!!

I used Distress Oxide Inks in the following colours - Ripe Persimmon, Bundled Sage, Shabby Shutters and Fossilized Amber

Very simple card, which looks darker in the photo than it is in real life, and I will add an appropriate sentiment when the time comes to use it.

 Hello again!!  I don't know what is happening with my blog, but things keep disappearing!!  This is actually the post for last Friday's Challenge, so here goes once again!!

I used my Promarkers for the first time in ages, and I'm not very happy with my colouring.  I will need to use my pens more often than my pencils!!  The colour of the photograph is a bit strange too, so I'm not sure what is going on!!

Craftycatz Challenge #24/11

 Hello again!  I'm afraid I have been "missing in action" for the month of October.  

My daughter Marie married her Fiancé Jordan, on 21st October in Fingask Castle here in Perthshire.  it was a wonderful day, and it went off without a hitch.  We now have lots of photographs and lots of happy memories.

So, on to the task at hand.

Crafty Catz #151

 

Hello once again!  It is sunny here today, with a very strong wind 

and the temperature has well and truly dropped.  I wish I stayed where it was warm all the time!!

I have used a card which I have just made with the ladies in my Craft Class.  They all really liked it, and they enjoyed making it.  I try to do different forms of crafting with them, and I am always looking for new things for them to try.

Yellow is a colour I don't use very often, but I must confess, I do like the way this card turned out.  It was funny when the ladies realised I had used a Dymo machine to make the sentiment, and they were saying how unusual it was to do that on a card.  I do like the effect though.

Hello again!!  Did you miss me?  I'm afraid I was a very bad girl last week and I didn't do a post as time ran away with me.  I seem to have so much to do at the moment, but I'm slowly ticking things off the list.

I am not very happy with the colouring on this card.  I used my Copic pens, but a couple ran dry before I was finished, so I had to put another colour on top and didn't get the blend correct at all.   I much prefer colouring with my Polychromo pencils!!
